New Social Media Model: ACCESS model

We’ve added a new Social Media Model in the category Implementation Models. The acronym ACCESS stands for Audience, Concept, Competition, Execution, Social Media Tools and Sales Viability.

These steps focus on the most important elements in your environment; know your audience, define the concept you want to use, analyze the competition and execute using the right Social Media tools and the right way of measuring results.

What is the ‘ME’ in Social Media? As Brian Solis describes it: “Social Media is a deeply personal ecosystem that I lovingly refer to as an EGOsystem. As such, there is a “me” in Social Media for a reason.┬áIt is quite literally a world in which we are at the center of our online experiences, a place where everything and everyone revolves around us.

Solis discovers that there aren’t just a couple of categories in which you can fit. No, he designed a model in which 18 different characters are placed. Too many, you think? Read them all and you will see the differences between all those online species. The model is really neat designed, by the way.
